BBM&D Strategic Branding Takes Home Six ADDYs at the 2014 American Advertising Awards

BBM&D Strategic Branding received six ADDY awards in the 2014 American Advertising Federation competition for creative excellence in the field of marketing. The event to announce and honor the recipients was held Tuesday night in Santa Barbara. This year’s awards (ADDY’s) add to the impressive 300-plus awards won by BBM&D since it’s inception. The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest award competition with over 40,000 entries annually.

“We are pleased by the acknowledgement from the American Advertising Federation in this year’s competition. The work submitted is impressive which makes this honor even greater,” said CEO/Founder Barbara Brown.

“We approach each client with one ultimate goal, brand strength. By pushing the boundaries of creativity, developing new methodologies, and utilizing new marketing streams in order to create the best work possible for our clients, we are confident to reach that goal,” said Arrate Zavala, Art Director. “To have longevity in the industry, the respect of our clients, and to be honored by these awards is humbling.”

BBM&D received six total awards, one silver and five bronze honors. The awards included the creative design and development for brand materials for Venture Strategies Innovations, an international non-profit organization providing healthcare solutions to women in underdeveloped countries. The creative for VSI won a silver and a bronze ADDY in the Annual Report/Brochure Design category.

BBM&D also garnered bronze awards for the Santa Barbara Airport Aviation brochure, Mavericks Gym “Change for the Better” campaign, and the Ventura Botanical Gardens Spring Garden Tour marketing campaign.

Conducted annually by the Coastal California American Advertising Federation, the mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
